Position Title:
Senior Consultant – Climate Change Education Materials Development

Battambang Teacher Education College (BTEC), in collaboration with UNESCO Phnom Penh and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS), is pleased to announce the recruitment of a qualified National Consultant to lead the development of a Climate Change Education (CCE) instructional package, a PRESET module, and a CPD course under the Climate Smart Education Systems Initiative (CSESI).
🔍Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop a comprehensive CCE instructional package for primary education
- Translate content into a structured module for the 12+4 PRESET programme
- Develop a 2-credit CPD course for teacher educators (blended modality)
- Coordinate with TWG and UNESCO for validation and feedback integration
- Contribute to reporting and documentation
🎓Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in environmental or sustainability-related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in climate change education and curriculum development
- Proven expertise in blended learning design and CPD course development
- Strong research background in climate pedagogy and environmental governance
- Bilingual proficiency in Khmer and English
💼Salary and Conditions:
- Remuneration based on expertise and scope of work, negotiated upon contract finalization
- Monthly payments subject to deliverable clearance by BTEC and UNESCO
