Position Title: Senior Consultant – Climate Change Education Materials Development
Contract Duration: 01 November – 31 December 2025
Location: Battambang, Cambodia

Battambang Teacher Education College (BTEC), in collaboration with UNESCO Phnom Penh and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS), is pleased to announce the recruitment of a qualified National Consultant to lead the development of a Climate Change Education (CCE) instructional package, a PRESET module, and a CPD course under the Climate Smart Education Systems Initiative (CSESI).

🔍Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop a comprehensive CCE instructional package for primary education
• Translate content into a structured module for the 12+4 PRESET programme
• Develop a 2-credit CPD course for teacher educators (blended modality)
• Coordinate with TWG and UNESCO for validation and feedback integration
• Contribute to reporting and documentation

🎓Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in environmental or sustainability-related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in climate change education and curriculum development
• Proven expertise in blended learning design and CPD course development
• Strong research background in climate pedagogy and environmental governance
• Bilingual proficiency in Khmer and English

💼Salary and Conditions:

• Remuneration based on expertise and scope of work, negotiated upon contract finalization
• Monthly payments subject to deliverable clearance by BTEC and UNESCO
